So I was told Lowes would help us cut the rough form for the Pinewood Derby car and then I could do the fine details with my son. Well during the rudest experience at a retail store that I have ever received, we were informed otherwise. After the guy chuckled and walked away we decided to go home and try our luck with my jigsaw and Dremel (which would normally be my first instinct anyway, but I figured a band saw may provide a mire square cut). It ended up not too bad. I let my son do some sanding after I used the tools and this was what we ended up with. Now to add some weight to it, paint it, and get some wheels on it, then we should be good to go.
